Follow the paved trail up the hill to the right and stay on the golden gravel path. Pets are not allowed inside the Museum, with the exception of service dogs.

Midland Provincial Park is a small provincial park located just outside of Drumheller at the site of the former Midland Coal Mine. This coal mine closed after a large mine explosion in the 1920s killed many miners. Midland Provincial Park today is home to the Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology.
